A Yellow Rainfall Warning is in effect for Antigonish Town and County.

A slow-moving system is expected to bring prolonged rainfall this weekend with significant rainfall this evening and overnight into Saturday morning.

Heavy downpours may lead to localized flooding, street closures, and flooded basements.

Residents are strongly advised to stay off the roads this evening and overnight unless absolutely necessary. Please use caution and watch for pooling water, flash flooding, overwhelmed drainage systems, and hazardous driving conditions.
