This event is held annually at the Antigonish Farmers’ Market in collaboration with the dietetic intern. This year, the intern will be showcasing Levantine cuisine and leading fun activities during the Evening of the Market.
The Canada Day fireworks had to be postponed on July 1 due to windy conditions, but we're excited to announce their new date—and to tie them to another great community event.
Join us on Wednesday, July 29 for the return of Music on Main at Columbus Field, an evening of free live music being organized by the Antigonish Tourism Association (Explore Antigonish) and the Antigonish Visitor Information Centre.
Music begins at 6 p.m. with the fireworks at dusk (approximately 9 p.m.).
Bring a lawn chair or blanket, gather your friends and family, and enjoy a night of great music capped off with a spectacular fireworks display.

The Extravaganza Gravity Festival brings a weekend of gravity mountain biking to Keppoch Mountain, a four-season trail park on a former ski hill with nearly 30 km of purpose-built bike trails.
The Antigonish Jazz Festival returns November 5 to 8, bringing local and Canadian jazz to venues across town, from restaurants, breweries and distilleries to the larger stages on the StFX campus. Born in 2022, it draws on Antigonish's deep jazz tradition and the StFX Jazz Studies program. Single-performance and weekend passes are available.
