ANTIGONISH FILM FESTIVAL — SEPTEMBER 25–26 A brand-new FREE Antigonish Film Festival is here! This is our first festival announcement, with more details, filmmaker information, and event updates still to come. Friday, September 25 — Short Film Showcase Location: Immaculata Hall, STFX Time: 6:00–9:00 PM Watch a lineup of 10 Antigonish-connected short films, cast your vote for the Audience Choice Award, and stay for a selection of 10 films created during the 2026 CANZ 48-Hour Film Challenge — all made right here in Antigonish in just 48 hours. That’s 20 films in 3 hours. Come celebrate local storytelling, discover Atlantic Canadian filmmakers, and help us launch a new film festival right here in Antigonish.
