ANTIGONISH FILM FESTIVAL — SEPTEMBER 25–26 A brand-new FREE Antigonish Film Festival is here! Saturday, September 26 — Atlantic Spotlight Location: Schwartz Auditorium, STFX Time: 6:00–9:00 PM Featuring: Please Fix Me A 12-minute short film about a woman who would rather hide inside another woman’s perfect skin than face her own feelings in therapy. The Great Amherst Haunting A 74-minute documentary exploring the infamous 1878 paranormal case of Esther Cox in Amherst, Nova Scotia. The evening will also feature a filmmaker Q&A with producers Mariah Macdonald and Mark Macdonald, both with Antigonish roots, along with other members of the filmmaking teams. Come celebrate local storytelling, discover Atlantic Canadian filmmakers, and help us launch a new film festival right here in Antigonish.
