Water Update

Water Update The Town has been under voluntary water conservation measures since July 30. The reservoir is currently approximately 16 to 18 inches below the top of the dam. Mandatory water conservation measures are triggered when water levels reach 1 metre (approximately 3.3 feet) below the top of the dam. Voluntary conservation measures remain in effect. However, if the reservoir does not receive significant rain over the next week, mandatory water conservation measures may be implemented. As a precaution, we have asked the Municipality of the County of Antigonish to prepare its well system and complete the necessary water testing should the additional water supply be required. The Town is asking all residents to continue to use water wisely. Every drop helps.
