Two new crosswalks have been added along Appleseed Drive connecting to the sidewalk installed earlier this summer
A new crosswalk across Highland Drive linking Appleseed Drive to Townsend Street
A mid-block crosswalk between Highland Drive and Florence Circle, in front of the Antigonish Education Centre (AEC)
What's next:
A crossing guard will be in place before and after school hours.
Flashing lights will be installed to support pedestrian safety outside school hours at the Appleseed Crosswalk.
Reminder: Please slow down, stay alert, and follow posted school zone speed limits to help keep everyone safe.
