Highland Games Arrival & Traffic Information

ANTIGONISH HIGHLAND GAMES - ARRIVAL & TRAFFIC INFORMATION

Due to the Highland Games Grand Street Parade on Saturday, visitors travelling to the area should be aware that Church Street and Main Street will experience traffic restrictions and delays. To avoid congestion, please do not use these routes when travelling to Columbus Field. The recommended route is to enter via St. Andrews Street. The entrance to Columbus Field will be accessible from the St. Andrews Street side.

From Port Hawkesbury:

Travel on Highway 104 West toward Antigonish. Take Exit 35 – Trunk 4 / St. Andrews Street. Turn left onto St. Andrews Street. Continue to Ron MacGillivray Chevrolet, where field parking is available on the opposite side of the street.

From New Glasgow:

Travel on Highway 104 East toward Antigonish. Take Exit 35 – Trunk 4 / St. Andrews Street. Turn right onto St. Andrews Street. Continue to Ron MacGillivray Chevrolet, where field parking is available on the opposite side of the street.

Please follow the direction of parking attendants and event volunteers upon arrival. Allow extra time for parking, walking to the field, registration, and warm-up.
